As described in post #38, you need to add aac:wav to the stream.transcode property to make the Yamaha player happy.

The ffmpeg binary should be in MinimServer/opt/bin and the stream.converter property should be set to opt/bin/ffmpeg (the default value if the ffmpeg binary is in the correct location).

The "above instructions" were for Synology, not QNAP. Where did you find the ffmpeg binary that you installed?
