The message about readLine is normal. Most common causes of this problem are ruled out because the problem is affecting MinimWatch on both your PC and your Mac.

I suggest you power off all your network equipment (PC, Mac, QNAP, router, any switches) and then power everything on again in the order described in this section. The PC and Mac should be powered on last. This often fixes unexplained network discovery issues.
