RE: minimwatch issue on fedora 38 (gnome 44)
I have been able to make this work by installing the GNOME extension "Tray Icons: Reloaded" on Fedora 38.
I am running with the latest version of Java (Java 20, full version, not headless) and the latest version of MinimWatch (2.2). I have enabled desktop integration for MinimWatch. With this combination, I can start MinimWatch from Activities. Instead of showing the MinimServer icon(s) in the menu bar, it shows a "3 dots" icon. If I click this icon, I get a black pop-up underneath the "3 dots" icon containing all the MinimServer minim icons. I can then left-click or right-click any of these icons as usual. |
