I am testing the new JPLAY iOS for a few days and I am truly satisfied with it. In spite of its fairly high price (50 € per year), I like its UI! I have MinimServer installed on an old Mac Book Air running Linux Mint that streams via Ethernet to a Raspbery Pi 4B running GentooPlayer. The Raspberry Pi is USB connected to my Devialet Expert 120. JPlay iOS runs on my iPad iOS 16.3.

The system runs now for days completely stably, without any hiccups. It’s a relief when compared to the Lumin app that constantly drops connection to the renderer!

In essence, the interplay between MinimServer/JPlay iOS and the renderer is very good! JPlayOS completely replaces Roon in my system!
