Uniti Atom stops when playing album from NAS

That is exactly what I'm saying. Though I have only tried using the Synology app a few times so probably need to do it more to be sure it doesn't happen.
I think as you say it is probably a conrol point issue. I searched with google for reports of similar issues and there are but no solutions on Naim forums. Sometimes the Atom plays first track and then stops other times it may play 5 or 6 tracks before it stops and if I do nothing it may start playing again after maybe 5 or 10 minutes.
I tried not touching the iPad to do other things such as checking mail but that was inconclusive. I will try setting the iPad not to sleep and see what happens.
