I have two suggestions. First, try powering all your network equipment off and on (not just individual devices) as described in this section.

If this doesn't work, set up a test network configuration with the absolute bare minimum to connect your NAS with either MinimWatch or a UPnP control point. If this works, add devices (switches, wireless access points, powerline adapters, etc.) until you find the change that makes the problem start happening. For example, another user with a similar problem found that the issue was caused by a switch (see this post).
