 DS414 to DS1522+
I am moving my music files -- and MinimServer -- from my old NAS to a new one. As one doesn't do this often, I'm not sure of the best way to handle everything involving MinimServer.
Installation: Since I have used only two installations, it seems to me I should be able to install the new instance and activate it before deactivating and removing the old one. Is that right? Configuration: How can I copy the configuration of the old installation to the new one? Would that be through "Export" and "Import" on the Profiles tab of the Configure Web interface? Tips: Are there any tips to make this easier or more foolproof; conversely, is there anything that should be avoided in doing this? Mike Portland, Oregon, USA |
