This is caused by the tagValue setting Album.default={'no album'}. If you remove this setting, this index entry should say "no album".

For this, change the tagFormat setting:
Album.displayFormat={$Date^^ - ^$album}
to:
Album.displayFormat={$album^$Date^ (^)}
