It doesn't matter whether files are tagged with TCMP or TXXX:Compilation. MinimServer maps both of these to COMPILATION.

The presence/absence/value of COMPILATION makes no difference to which artists are displayed. COMPILATION is just a tag that can appear in the index.

The "problem" with some artists not appearing in the index appears to be caused by using the Artist index. As I have tried to explain in previous posts, this index does not include Artist values for files that have an AlbumArtist tag (including files with COMPILATION=1 and ALBUMARTIST=Various Artists).

You should be able to fix the DateDecade sort conflict warnings by changing DateDecade.decade.index to DateDecade.decade.index.sort.
