Then you seem to have misquoted/made up what I said. If you look at what I wrote, I said:

Which I believe is true, is it not?

I think FLAC is the superior format and I would recommend everyone to use it, but at the end of the day you have to be pragmatic about it, most people on their platform stick with the defaults., and the defaults won't play FLAC, will they?
