I have found an alternative converter (DSD Master) and it behaves similarly to FFmpeg, at least on this test file.
Using a converter is a valid comparison, as the renderer receives exactly the same audio data. I agree that there could be many factors involved in this, some of which I can reproduce here and some that I can't. |
