RE: 'Album Sort' - unexpected behaviour
Unfortunately that's the price you pay for having a non-alphabetical display order.

I prefer to have my albums displayed in chronological order, so I have the year of original release as the first part of the album name, which means that 95%+ of my albums start with 1, so I also effectively lose the benefit of being able to use the alphabetical scroll, but then by the time I get to my album list I've almost always subset it to a small enough group where scrolling down the list isn't a problem anyway.

If you find yourself scrolling through huge album lists often, you could use alphaGroups. When enabled, MinimServer will provide an alphabetical index selection (once you have descended to your album view) that can be used to filter your albums further.

The syntax is simply:
Code:
alphaGroup: albums=n
Where n represents the minimum album list size for which alphabetical selection will be offered e.g. if you specify albums=1, then you'll nearly always see the index selection, whereas if you specify albums=99999 you'll never see it.
