I tried this with Microsoft Edge and with Firefox. Firefox worked OK but Edge blocked the download.

You can override the false positive message from Edge by mousing over the "was blocked" message in the Downloads pop-up and selecting the '3 dots' icon (More actions). From this menu, select Keep.

You will then get another false positive message when you try to run the downloaded installer. From this, click 'More info' followed by 'Run anyway.'
