TBF, Simon, it might have been slightly less initially responsive with snooping turned on, but not to an extent that is overtly noticeable, and it is certainly no less responsive in subsequent use. (Certainly nothing measurable in minutes).

Maybe it's simply differences in our underlying technology and network topology. (One of my connections is via an unmanaged switch, and the other is wireless).

Whatever, it would appear that, at worst, one simply needs to be patient (and given other reported issues in the migration to ADM4, that's not a bad result).
