Synology M3U Playlists
Simon:
I have a SonicTransporter i5 with several M3U playlists that came from playlists created in JRiver. They require some editing to be able to work in the SonicTransporter.
The folder structure from JRiver is N:\My Music\[Genre]\[Artist]\[Album]\[Track].
The editing I do for the playlist to work in the SonicTransporter is... Replace the \ with / and Replace N:/My Music with /storage/music. This works great.

P.S. For the SonicTransporter the "playlists" folder resides in the "music" folder along with all the "Genre" folsers.

At this time I am borrowing a Synology NAS, DS 7.0 and would like to create playlists in the same manner as they are created in the SonicTransporter. The folder tree is the same with the exception that N:/My Music would have to be replaced by /volume1/music/[Genre]/...etc, after, of course, replacing \ with /. What I read, though, is Synology wants to see "relative path". If this is the case where should the "playlists" folder be located and where should the ../ be put in the path statement for a line using the above folder structure described in the SonicTransporter paragraph.

Thanks. Rich
