Too much tagging information - how do I remove the unwanted excess
Hello
I have a problem with MinimServer installed on my Synology NAS drive, when used with my Cambridge CXN v2. When using the Cambridge app, I see a whole range of data within the folder for each artist which I do not want to see, namely the date, genre, composer etc. All I want to see is the album or albums listed, without any additional tags for date, genre etc. Is there a way of not showing the extra unwanted tags without deleting the information from the main metadata within each album itself? I hope this makes sense. I always edit my metadata within the windows ID tag editor and not using MinimServer as I am still unsure how to use MinimServer to its fullest advantage. I only use MinmServer as it seems to be the only way I can see my music files on the Synology NAS. |
