Hi Simon, the above is what I believe I have configured but for the avoidance of doubt I stopped the firewall and still no renderers are working.

Please can you suggest what I set in minimserver logging and what to try as I still the green icon in my system tray so still have some control. I can upload the logs as before.

Simon, I went to your notes on multicast issues and turned everything off and then on in the suggested order. This time I was able to enqueue an album and try and play on the Linn Majik.
Unfortunately no sound and the chosen track jumped one track to another in no particular order. Very erratic and eventually I turned off the Linn. A small step forward perhaps but how do I make further progress please? Should I start a new thread?

I followed your advice once more and by some miracle playing is now as it should be. Very relieved and thanks for the hand holding earlier. My faith has been restored.
