RE: New installation teething problems
Hi Simon,
I understand your concerns over openSUSE but there has not been a problem in all the years I have used minimserver. The only issue remains a technical security problem with minimwatch. All the systems involved have been re-booted more times than I can count and all the devices have been updated and upgraded. This may of course be the source of the problem and the question is where to look. I have the same problem symptom both with my RPi homebrew and a Linn device I am just trying to think through the various processes. My control point can scan and detect both renderers and the control point can also see and I can browse the music data files and directories. It is only the enqueue instruction which fails and I am wondering if it could be a firewall problem between the renderers and the server. We have mentioned upnp protocol in the past. Is this required for these handshakes I ask? It is not mentioned explicitly for minimserver but for BubbleDS? I have saved a debug log to a file which should be attached and may help illuminate something ctually a couple of logs from different dates as I had to zip to get them attached here. alastair.zip (Size: 61.32 KB / Downloads: 1)
Just a thought. If you have any suggestions please let me know, Regards and thanks again for your replies. Alastair. |
