Have you checked the MinimServer log for error messages?

Does restarting the renderers or rebooting the OpenSUSE machine running MinimServer solve the problem?

Based on my poor experiences with OpenSUSE running MinimServer, I suspect it might not be possible to make this combination work reliably.
