Hi Simon, may need some help with this. I tried to use puddletag which required installing snapd etc. and then I found that puddletag couldn't see my data because it is on a soft link from another array. having copied the six Dylan albums to a normal working directory I think I tagged them correctly puddletag with preferences set to ID3v2.4.

All six Bob Dylan albums are shown in Genre>Rock>Artist=Bob Dylan.
When I tagged with easytag id3v2.4 I found the (17) at the top of the Genre column. I understand this to mean that easytag is broken and have posted an issue but support will be slow. Any way to get this fix applied more quickly?

Meanwhile I must find out why puddletag is not happy with my soft link!
