RE: FLAC Files with the "≫" Character in File Name Won't Play
Hi Simon. In the case of the "Get Shown the Light" 11-CD box set, the CDs were ripped using dBpoweramp v14.4 for Windows in May 2017. I do not recall if I dragged the master folder to the Melco via the same Windows PC or via my MacBook Pro.

A search for "»" in my MinimServer error log file revealed 772 hits. Assuming two hits per track, that means I have 386 tracks that I ripped and dragged to the Melco with "»" in the file name. I can say with confidence that such files were once visible on the Melco, e.g., with MinimServer 0.8. (As detailed in the original posts in this thread, such files used to show up in MinimServer folder view but not play. Now, they simply do not show up.)

Thanks.

Melco HA-N1ZH60 Mk1 (MinimServer 2.2) → USB → Luxman D-07X Black Edition Centennial SACD Player/DAC → XLR → Mark Levinson No. 523 → RCA → JL Audio E-Sub e110 (active crossover @ 100 Hz) → RCA → Bryston 4B3 (Cubed) → Magnepan .7
