It may be that some firewall blocks the important ports so minimwatch doesn't "see" minimserver. This is my problem on a Windows 7 machine that has a VM installed. The VM installs additional network adapters, that confuses the firewall, and as a result, the ports are blocked. Try accessing the NAS with a different computer, preferably something "stupid and simple" such as Windows XP. Not kidding.
