As I understand it, you want to play local files, not an internet radio stream. In this case, the information in "Playing BBC HLS radio streams on an internet radio" is not relevant to your situation.
Your random playlist is fine and you should be able to play it using a UPnP control point and a UPnP renderer. Is your Bose/BluOS setup able to act as a UPnP renderer? For example, can you select an individual track from your MinimServer library and play it on the Bose/BluOS? When you do this, what do you use as the UPnP control point (the app that selects the track to be played)? |
