Configure MinimStreamer on QNAP to play NAS content as a steam
G'day,

I'm having all sorts of problems getting MinimStreamer to work on my QNAP NAS. I've now got Minimwatch working which is a major step forward as it has't been.

I'm trying to present a random library selection from my NAS as a stream to be consumed via a Bose Media player and a BluOS device.

Folowing one of the samples I've created the following "test" playlists. they showed on the Bose but not play Bose error "Can't play tracks with that audio format". The playlists were not visible to BluOS device.

I tried adding them as http://192.168.1.11:9790/minimstreamer/*/R1 as per your Playing BBC HLS radio streams on an internet radio in TuneIn but TuneIn did not recognise these.

The absolute path to my Music Folder on my QNAP is: /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/Public/Shared%20Music with an alternate path as /share/Public/Shared Music. The BBC and Linn examples are both in a BBC Radio folder off Shared Music.

A sample of the play list that I've generated to ultimately be streamed is in the root folder (Shared Music) and is also attached. If you need to advise me on any structural defficiencies on this file then that would be appreciated.

Sorry if I've miss-understood how all this is suppose to work.

Thanks

Paul
