Content directory configuration issue (SMS-200)

I've reset the SMS-200 to factory, reinstalled the USB hard drive, updated library description, network path, sync'd the disk etc. etc. just as I have always done. Nothing works.

What am I doing wrong? Seems like a lot of people are having similar issues, what's the catch?

When you connect an usb hdd it shows up in your pc under \mwdata\music\usb1
but the path in content directory must be
/mw/data/music/usb1
... the name mwdata is splitted in mw/data
