can't get index artwork to work

I think the problem is that you have named your artwork files incorrectly. If you check carefully, I think you will find that they are named

Blues.jpg.jpg
Pink Floyd.png.png
Vivaldi, Antonio (1678-1741).jpg.jpg

instead of

Blues.jpg
Pink Floyd.png
Vivaldi, Antonio (1678-1741).jpg

It shows up in XBMC, many thanks!! (a quick test on my PC)

Probably most of the other controlpoints will show the new feature now.
CA connect ignores IndexArtist.

I have tried several controlpoints.
Both Linn apps,Creation C5,Fidata, mConnect, 8Player all seem to work.
CA Connect, as mentioned before, ignores IndexArtist.
IndexArtist "overrules" the automatic chosen images within the Lumin app.
