Thanks! This means that Java is not installed. The explanation is that installing the Synology package 'Java Manager' does not install Java itself on the Synology, but it provides an interface to install/upgrade/remove (manage) Java. To install Java, please do the following:

1) Go to this website, accept the license agreement and download the file 'jre-6u45-linux-i586.bin' locally to your computer. Note that you will have to register with Oracle to be able to download the file.
2) Open the Synology 'Java Manager' again and click 'Choose file' to select the file downloaded in step 1. This will install Java on your Synology.

Please note that the file extension of the downloaded file may be changed depending on the browser you use. If so, you will have to rename the file to 'jre-6u45-linux-i586.bin' again.
