Minimwatch 2 no icon

It sounds like either an antivirus program or Windows itself might be blocking MinimWatch 2 because it has incorrectly identified it as suspected malware. The older version could be regarded as "safe" because it has had more downloads.

Please try the following as a test:

1) Open a Command Prompt window
2) Enter these commands:
cd "C:\Program Files\MinimWatch\lib"
java -jar "C:\Program Files\MinimWatch\lib\mwatch.jar"

Does the icon appear in the taskbar? It might appear briefly and then move to the overflow area. Do you get any messages in the Command Prompt window?
