RE: Announcing MinimServer 2 for ASUSTOR and ReadyNASLinux
Simon,
I run Minimserver on Asustor (ARM v7) and note Minimserver 2 is now released to that platform. It would make sense to migrate, but I'm wary of doing so without a regression path in case of short-term problems (despite excellent support and acting as a guinea-pig in the past). I note the original download links have been removed, and I don't have a copy of the original package. It isn't clear, but it would appear that upgrade installation might overwrite the original package. If this is so, rather than parallel installation, what is my best regression option (if indeed there is one and in the unlikely event I need one). I don't have a complex installation, but I suspect I might be an early adopter of this particular package. |
