QNAP occasional crashes

The log file location was changed in MinimServer 2 and this page has not been updated. I will fix this soon. Thanks for letting me know about this.

Please check the data subfolder under the MinimServer shared folder for any files with names that start "minimserver-crash" or "hs_err".

If you don't see either of these, the next time it happens and before restarting MinimServer, please copy the minimserver.log and minimserver-out.log files to another location and post the final portions of both these files here.
