Tagging multichannel files

At the moment I have 5.1 Flac streaming beautifully to the Oppo 105 using MS.

Fortunately the only music format in FLAC I have is 5.1, so I can easily find the files using the #audioformat tag. Hopefully when DSD gets into MS I'll be able to do the same because I am storing stereo DSD as DSF and mulitchannel as DFF

But this is not ideal for everyone who doesn't do what I've done or has stereo FLACS as well..

So any ideas for specific tagging of stereo vs multichannel?

I could add a new special tag #AudioChannels that would have the value 1 (mono), 2 (stereo) or 5.1 (multichannel). Would this help?

I have had no contact from OPPO about DSD streaming.
