RE: MinimWatch 2.0.12 for Mac gives JavaHomeError

I'm seeing "JavaHomeError" for MinimServer 2 on my Mac mini, but not on my MacBook Pro. On both of them JRE 8u251 is installed. On my MacBook Pro "/usr/libexec/java_home" gives: Quote:/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/jdk1.8.0_60.jdk/Contents/Home In contrast, my Mac mini gives: Quote:Unable to find any JVMs matching version "(null)". To me it looks like MinimServer 2 and MinimWatch 2 currently only work correctly, if the SDK has been installed, i.e. they don't use the installed Java runtime environment (JRE). IMO it's quite unusual that a Java application requires the installation of the SDK in order to work. |
