Rebooting from the command line (with `reboot`) yields to a loss of the wireless settings in my system. The command line commands (after remote ssh root login) are not fully consistent with the commands of the web interface. Still, I have found GenTooPlayer to be more usable than Volumio, DietPi and AudioLinux. I have been running GenTooPlayer in parallel with my own Raspbian-based minimal distribution (basically, MPD, upmpdcli and MinimServer, no HDMI, no bluetooth, no internal audio, no USB bus and eth0) and it works just fine. They both require less than 250mA and streaming via the wireless or (through the onboard MinimServer instance) from the micro SD card sounds very good through a DigiOne Signature powered by UpTone Audio JS-2 (RPi) and LPS-1.2 (DigiOne Signature). |
