box appears with MW can't be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software, the software needs to be updated (show in finder and ok buttons).
click ok.
ctrl click open MW file
another dialogue box appears, same one as before but with different buttons - show in finder/open/cancel.
press open.
Then double click MW, and nothing.

I'm sure I'm missing something.
