If so, I am confused as to why, because of the actions you have already performed.

You have written that you have run BubbleUPNP server on the rendu and configured the rendu dlna output as an Open home renderer.
As a result, the rendu should now be available as a room within both the macOS Kazoo and the ipad Kazoo. Btw - the Kazoo applications are independent of each other. You use one or the other.
Then it’s simply a matter of choosing your audio source, I.e. MinimServer, Tidal, Qobuz etc., from within the chosen Kazoo application.
