A URL like this would be needed:

http://127.0.0.1:9790/minimstreamer/*/myStreamID/$!transcode.L16

where myStreamID is the stream ID from the .m3u file.

Forgive me, but I'm largely ignorant of the technology here and am thus completely baffled. What is the stream ID in the m3u file? Some m3u files seem just to consist in http URLs and nothing more. The one for a station I listen to a lot is:

How do I find the ID?

It would be great if someone could write a quick guide to setting up HQPlayer to play these kinds of internet stations. It presumably involves MinimStreamer downloading and transcoding to flac, and passing the http URL on to HQPlayer, but the details elude me after much googling.
