HLS stream to radio.

Reading the thread again I note that your

Just to clarify, you are using Kazoo with Minimserver selected as the media server from which you select the Playlists index entry. From there you select a .m3u radio entry which displays a list of BBC HLS streams which play successfully to your main system?

If so, that clearly shows the .m3u file is correct and suitable for use on the Roberts 93i radio, notwithstanding the need, perhaps, to transcode the stream into an appropriate format for the radio, eg. *:L16.

Apologies for being pedantic but when using the Roberts 93i radio, you are entering the Music Player mode, which displays the Minimserver Index list including the Playlists entry. Selecting this displays the .m3u radio entry but when selecting it no list of radio streams is presented, just an empty page?
