MinimServer on the NAS does send music to the Arcam via the LAN but this shouldn't cause any VPN issues as all requests to the BBC should be coming from the NAS.

Thanks, Simon. That helps clarify what's happening, and hopefully the log will give you further info. I'd forgotten about the need to zip the log before posting, so thanks for the reminder. I've just created a fresh log today while attempting to play R3 again, using BubbleUPnP as control.
