Peter, I use Naim control app and not Lumin. To my knowledge the Naim app can't do this.
Simon's suggestion probably is the way to go. Will try one of these days.

Since a rescan normally only is necessary after adding music or doing some editing, which I always do from a PC, I should simply remember to do a rescan before turning off the PC. As I said, no big issue as such
