Ah that's unfortunate, though strange since the Onkyo's instruction manual does say that it is supposed to be able to play .dsf files from the network (ie, via UPnP/DLNA) as well as from a USB storage device.
Thinking about it there could be another explanation. It's possible the Onkyo CR-N765 is expecting an incorrect MIME type for .dsf DSD files, whereas MinimServer is sending the correct MIME type for .dsf files and the Onkyo doesn't recognise it so cannot play the files.
