So i did my test on the Macintosh (OSX version 10.11.6) as follows:
- Macintosh USB configured in Audio MIDI utility @ 192kHz / 2 channel / 24bit - Furutech Stratos connected to USB --> Macintosh USB @ 192kHz is recognised - Copied some music from NAS on Macintosh: aiff, wav, flac and mp3; in total 14 files - OpenHome Player installed on Macintosh - Linn Kazoo installed on Macintosh - MinimServer installed, configured and started on Macintosh --> Linn Kazoo on Macintosh recognises MinimServer and its music indexed on Macintosh --> looks ok ![]() --> 14 music files in MinimServer on Macintosh are seen and can be browsed similar to NAS experience --> looks ok ![]() --> 14 music files queued for playback on Furutech Stratos --> looks ok ![]() The result of playing the 14 files from Macintosh Kazoo / OpenHome / MinimServer on the USB Stratos: --> mp3, aiff, 16bit & 24bit flac and 16bit wav music sounds ok ![]() --> 24bit wav music files (96 & 192kHz) are refused for playback and are not rendered ![]() What now? ![]() What is wrong? Anybody has a clue? Any advice? KR Eric |
