Sorry, I should have qualified "all this talk about Windows". I meant the Windows specific situations, eg, the Windows audio output tests, the Kazoo Windows store issue, etc.

Fair point. I mentioned the Windows Store issue only because it arose in my case, and I have no way of knowing whether there is any read-across to the Mac, though FWIW my guess would be that the problem is Windows-specific. In any event, there is the workaround to use Kinsky rather than Kazoo, and that did seem to be worth a mention.
