Effect of NAS cpu performance on MinimServer

I don't understand this. You can set alphaGrouping so that it only groups the top-level list of 5000 albums and no other lists. How would this make a difference to compiling a playlist?

To answer your main question, a faster NAS makes everything running on it go faster, including MinimServer.
