32 bit x86 Linux install problem
I've repurposed an older 32 bit x86 machine with Ubuntu as an operating system. My first task has been to try to install MinimServer. I have followed the instructions on the install page for a desktop integration installation, and it seemed to proceed as per the instructions. My problem is that when I click the Minimserver icon, it shows in the taskbar for about 20 seconds and then goes away with no other activity on the screen.

One possible clue is that when I look at the Java version. I see this:

openjdk version "1.8.0_131"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_131-8u131-b11-2ubuntu1.16.04.3-b11)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.131-b11, mixed mode)

Is the reference to 64 bit a problem, and if so, how to I correct it?

If that isn't a problem, can you give me a clue on what I'm doing wrong?

Dave
