It sounds like MinimServer has failed to start correctly. QTS thinks it has started (hence the green icon in QTS) but it hasn't (hence the grey icon in MinimWatch, etc.)

Please attach the minimserver.log file (in the Public share of the QNAP) to a post here as a file attachment. This should help me to see what is causing the problem.
