Thanks for this additional information. Here are some more suggestions:

1) Try completely disabling the firewall on the PC running the original music system.

2) Make sure that the PC running the original music system is using only one network adapter (either wired or wireless) and that the IP address on this adapter has the same subnet as the IP address of the Linn streamer.
