RE: Re-scanning after NAS drive file re-arrangements
Can I add to this thread
I am running Minimserver on a Pi with my music files on a windows network PC. When I reboot my Pi, I have found how to reconnect automatically to the windows mount by raspi-config delaying the Pi re-boot until network connection is established (otherwise I had to re-establish the connection by typing in again the mount command) My problem is that I can then see no alternative to completely rescanning (using MinimWatch). Because of a large music collection this takes several hours. Doesn't my Minimserver on my Pi retain the information from the previous scan? |
