MinimServer is intended to be run on the device where the music files are stored; if the music files are on the NAS, MinimServer should run on the NAS. MinimServer supports a wide range, but by no means all, makes and models of NAS. What make and model is your NAS?

It's synology ds214 play so yes I can install it there. So do I then run say Jriver or foobar?
