Skipping [Disc 1]

I spent some time playing around with this.

I changed the album names to REMOVE the [Disc N] suffix from the album name, but added in the Disc 1 of 2, 2 of 2 into the track tags.

Now, MinimServer just shows the entire album as one complete collection of songs with no separation of discs (i.e. seems to ignore the disc N of M tags if the tracks all have the same album name with NO suffix).

Then, I added back-in the [Disc N] suffix, leaving in the disc number tags. This feels odd, as you are really calling each disc by a separate name and if you loaded these in iTunes, you would see two, separate albums.

But, with both the [Disc N] album name suffix and the disc number tags in the tracks, everything works: I can enqueue the whole set and it plays back as expected and I also see the >> Disc N separators in the album listing.

Now... we will see how MPD handles this naming convention, but at least I am back to a working MinimServer, as soon as I re-tag my files ... again.
