You can clear the log file by deleting it. However, this doesn't clear the log entries from the log window. To clear these entries, I could add a Clear button to the log window. Would you also want the on-disk log entries to be cleared at the same time?

A simple solution would be to put your music one level further down from the network share, so your music would be in /volume1/music/musicfiles and the recycle bin would be in /volume1/music/recyle. I'm using an extra level like this on my NAS.
